I want to see if I’m getting this right, so this game releases a content patch every 2-3months. next one will be 0.83, then 0.84, 0.85 etc. Doe that mean it’ll be another 2-3 years before the game is fully released? I’m asking purely out of curiosity and not being impatient. There’s plenty of games in the mean time to keep busy with, D2R, new world and possibly even D4 if my theory is correct 
No, they are intending to release multiplayer (0.9) this year. They can either skip numbers or add more in (0.9.10, 0.9.11, 0.9.12, etc) as they are software version numbers, not purely counting up.
