I’m curious if anyone has given this a shake to see what it’s like. I’ve done a little dabbling and honestly I don’t see any reason to be using Spriggan form at all, but I’m trying not to be too judgmental and seeing if someone found a way to us it. The way I see the update, the werebear got a nice boost, but the only plus to Spiggan form is you can use it sooner.
I’m currently levelling a build based on Spriggan form.
The idea is to summon mass thorns totems that will invoke Vale spirits when dying, and those spirits will generate Entangling roots. All this converted to Cold, same for the Spriggan companion.
Spriggan form is fun to play, powerful and versatile.
I didn’t play much Spriggan, but there are many strong builds for it out there. If you want I can point them out for you.
Even if you don’t play Spriggan it has the best rage generation from all forms and the thorn shield for defensive bonuses, both of which can be triggered without using Spriggan form. Therefore, the skill is useful even if you play other builds such as earthquake Werebear.
Spriggan form feels great even though no moveskill, Spirit thorns is pretty good for both DoT and Flat dmg/Crit, I am running a non-crit Shaman which was able to kill t4 arena boss which was pretty surprising for me(crit druid should be much better). There is also Lizard’s frostbite ver which seems way stronger. Poison also should be good and you can even go beastmaster for aspect of the viper.
I haven’t messed around much with the other stuff but I’ve seen thorn shield doing good dmg with hazelroot and a bear/thorn shield build too. I think Vines are also good but the best version of Vines is werebear or so I heard.
