I am hoping this is a bug because it makes no sense to me. If you go from Ice Thorn Totem to Winterwood node, it requires 3 skills even though you can only put one point in Ice Thorn Totem. It should be just one skill path right?
I donât have the tree in front of me, but this sounds similar to the bottom left of the wolf nodes. Some paths are basically âone-wayâ because of the skill requirements, I think that is wanted out of Balance reasons.
If they donât want us to go to certain skill node, then simply donât make a âconnection lineâ. If people see a connection line, they are going to assume that the paths are connected. Thatâs why I think itâs a bug.
I guess itâs connected if you go from Winterwood to Ice Thorn Totem but not the other way around⌠still strange to me. The first time I see a path like this.
There are multiple of These occurences, and the Problem is exactly what you said: It is connected from one way, so you canât just not have the line there, because you are supposed to be able to get to the node this way. Youâre just not supposed to go âbackwardsâ, maybe leaving out relatively weak nodes that Balance out the powerful nodes later on.
This mostly applies to powerful 1 Point nodes behind longer paths, that have multiple ways to get there.
This is indeed working as intended (thanks @Elgareth!).
Iâll speak with the team about whether we could improve the UI to make this clearer.
