This morning's progress lost on Sorceror after logging out and manually deleting a character

Logged out for the last time last night at ~8:30 PM ET

Logged in today around 11am ET, selected Sorcerorr; did some crafting, Monolyth runs, and sold some items in my stash that I had saved for my Lich.

As I’d planned, I logged out and deleted my Lich (character name Jezebel), then logged back in as my Sorceror. Everything I had done while logged in as my Sorceror for that half hour or so was “reset.” I had my old wand back, the Lich items were back in my stash, some Skill changes I’d made while leveling were reset, etc. (The deleted character did stay deleted.)

I effectively re-did what I’d done and then logged out again, and back in. It appears the new progress was kept; the progress that was lost had “Elemental Damage” on the new wand. When I redid everything, I left the “Damage Over Time” affix on the wand this time. The DoT affix is the one that stayed. I’ll log in after confirming this log uploaded, and then update this post if the wand affix reverts.

Edit: Servers are offline at the moment, so can’t log in to check.

Edit2: I just logged in and the affix on my wand is DoT.

I had a similar thing happen to me. I played with a friend doing mono’s and then after using a key to move into a dungeon our characters seemingly got “updated” to roll back to have the same gear/inventory as when we logged in.
