Every mechanic has been tested. Of course there will be bugs, but your quick patching is great. EHG team, you’re genuinely doing an amazing job.
Even if I sometimes come across as harsh or aggressive towards you, please see it as feedback from someone who truly loves your game. And honestly — you’ve achieved something great here.
Drops feel very good, and class balance is well handled. Many people say Falconer is overpowered, but they either forget or don’t realize that it’s also one of the hardest classes to play effectively.
If you farm at around 2k corruption and run Conquered Tower, Nemesis will consistently give you more than enough of what you’re looking for — including T777/T77 items.
The UI is one of the strongest aspects — the map redesign is especially well thought out and very successful.
And as always… lastly: there’s still no real endgame
Note: This is the first time I’ve written such a purely positive message — because when something is good, it deserves to be recognized.
I fully agree with everything that has been said. I’m a casual player but I’m really enjoying LE whenever I have a bit of spare time. Big fan of the Spellblade mastery so I’m very happy for all the changes you’ve made there.
I bought LE when Season 2 came out and enjoyed it. Played multiple characters to Aberroth. Tried Season 3 but the Bear AI was too frustrating for me. Season 4 has been fun to Aberroth but I’m struggling to stay motivated to play past it.
Is 2000 corruption really needed to get T77 loot? I bumped it to 500 hoping to see some improvement but I get nothing. And survival is already sketchy in some situations.
I went with bladedancer since I’ve never tried and it’s pretty fun so far. Got down regular Abby and going to see if I can do the next Omen boss and then Uber. Trying to get some other gear for future alts including Lich and Spellblade.
I was very pessimistic about item corruption but got positively surprised. They are fun and a good addition to the game. Kudos there.
Then I also like the omen windows mostly because they don’t require you to enter any sub-zone. They are a too chaotic at times though and the Omen Veil is just a flustercuck.
Not a fan of the echo chains at all though. I don’t feel like doing them. They take away player agency, turn the echo web into criss-crossing mess of lanes and they just offer recycled, redundant content. Here I wished EHG would have leaned into Woven Echoes more and let players build their own web with juicing auras. For the continuation, they could have let players define their own, continuous path or something.
No, not really. The two major breakpoints are 300 and 1000 corruption, after that you will get into heavy diminishing return. Anything between 300 and 1000 will suffice, but the more the better of course.
The problem with 2xT7 loot and above is, that it is incredibly hard to get it into a useable state if it doesn’t already drop with desired affixes.
But using Runes of Havoc and Runes of Redemtpion on multiple exalted affix items is very random and much harder than on a single exalted affix item.
Don’t get put off by people boasting with their virtual numbers like that (OP always did that).
350 is totally fine and enough for basically everything the game has to offer. The new Omen Echo is a lot harder than regular Aberroth, but way easier than Uber Aberroth, so if you find some more motivation and progression for your character upwards you have one more thing to work towards other than just pure corruption.
If you make sure affixes are same tier, it’s not that much harder.
A 7555 (or 7111, 7222, etc, all work the same) will have 1/3 chance to land your affix. Basically all possible combinations (since they never stay the same) are 5755, 5575 and 5557.
For 2 exalted you start with a 7755, so the possible combinations are 7575, 7557, 5775, 5577, 5757. So it’s 1/5 chance to get it. It’s harder, sure, but not “much harder”.
If you have different tiers, then it’s a completely different issue where it starts growing out of control (a 7655 is 1/7, a 7654 is 1/24).
I was refering to getting the item and affixes into a state where you can seal or remove undesired affixes. with double T7 that is much much more unlikely and thus cost a lot more FP on average. And then depending on the next step if you try to remove affixes it is also much less likely to succeed. So its a compounding effect of multiple instances of crafting and RNG.
And for Redemption since it always reroll all exalted affixes its simply much more pain to hit two useful affixes rather than one.
Thanks, Heavy. Did not know about the 300 and 1000 breakpoints. I’ll try to ramp up to 1000 since I’m still not getting double exalts consistently enough to keep playing. I’ve found 3 in my time playing Season 4 and it just feels unreasonably low.
You will find plenty from Nemesis at higher corruption. Something like 700c should be enough for the Nemesis to give double exalteds fairly regularly. Sometimes even triple exalted gear, though most often the 3rd exalted affix, when it does roll, is a T6.
Only if the Nemesis offer the base you are looking for. My biggest need is a Leonine helm, which hasn’t been offered by the 100s(probably 1000+) of Nemesis I’ve done. I can get bases for other slots since the subtype doesn’t matter to the 2LP unique.
Don’t try to aim for specific corruptiuon numbers, just try and stay as comfortable as you can still play with your current state of the build. Usually having a little bit lower corruption but dying less and having a smoother time is worth more.
Also are you CoF or MG? If you are CoF are you rank 11 already? that helsp A LOT with exalt drops.
But yeah these multiple exalt items are just really the top of the progression so they don’t rain from the skies, even at that high corruption.
