What’s confusing you 'cause the gearing isn’t particularly difficult in LE, or most arpgs.

I’ll just leave this right here…
A person who can’t grasp basic game mechanics for 3 seasons straight, but won’t look at videos for beginners. 
Sounds like the problem is between the keyboard and the chair.

looking at your character on LE tools, you’ve got skills and points all over the place.
Paladin with no holy aura, specced into void damage on warpath, and bleed in rive. You need to pick one damage type and scale that. You’re spread too thin trying to do so many different damage types.
