She thinks, while spending something like 2.5 hours sorting through her stash…
Insert infomercial black + white shot here
Only after completing the task does she think of better ways of going about it, such as the stupid “Sort” button, or searching by item name so-as-to not have to manually eyeball every duplicate within all the pages of stuff.
Insert shot of lady giving an exasperated sigh
She also wonders if trashing every unwanted item down the vendor drain was a wise move, when at the very least she could have sold some of it for pennies via the Merchant’s Guild to possibly make someone’s day. Might not have been good stuff, but perhaps someone wanted an entry-level item just to get a build started. Alas, too late now.
Insert shot of lady overthinking it

Anyway, what’s done is done, but hey, I went from 18 pages of just Uniques to a fully sorted stash! Kept at least one of everything, threw out the inferior versions, and now I feel better about looking through my treasure. Six pages of Uniques, one page for Keys, one page for Set items, and some pages for Idols and Rare/Exalted items that are worth holding onto. There are 12 pages that are just labelled “Empty” now, and I’m up 600,000 gold doing the bare minimum lol
What about you guys? Everything neat and tidy, or do you just kinda haphazardly dump it in the stash for later?
Yeah, that is an entire subgame here. I actually kind of like it.
I have:
General folder with pages for keys, dump for ok accessories, small idols and multiple tabs for the current character (mostly crafting related)
Unique folder for uniques without LP, with tabs for 2H, 1H, Òff, Body, etc. 3 pieces each max.
1LP uniques folder, being CoF this is the bulk of my items, similar pattenr as above.
Legendaries folder & WW & 2LP (3LP and 4LP fit on half a tab), also same pattern as above.
“Stuff” this is where I park tabs for my other characters and e.g. great looking exalts, often with sealed affixes I have no immediate use for but do not wanter shatter or sell. Also this is the place where I hord 6 Merophages and 2H swords which I update when their page is full.
So for most unique and legendary stuff I have a three pieces max rule. I try to keep the best pieces but developed a f**k it attitude for the very common items. because otherwise I would be spending too much time comparing stats instead of playing the game.
I really wish there was something I could do with all the 1LP uniques I have to vendor, similar to POE.
Generic group
-Two key tabs
-Two idol tabs (common, and the rest)
-Experimental tab
-Couple of low level dump tabs for leveling new toons
Exalted group
-Exalted dump tab for each toon
Set group
-Two tabs, always compare and keep only the best piece
Unique group
-Tab for each slot (1h, 2h, Hands, Helms, etc), keep the best of each LP and high rolled 0LP to dump into Nemisis, will duplicate some LPs if I get two that are really well rolled, but I try not to keep more than 4 or 5 at most total
-Overflow tab for any slot tab that gets full (2h2, Body2, etc)
The uniques is the only one with duplicates, so duplicates are next to each other sorted by LP.
