The sound design in Last Epoch seriously lacks low-end frequencies and impact. It genuinely feels like I’m playing with my subwoofer turned off.
The difference is stark when switching from the Path of Exile 2 beta back to Last Epoch. PoE2’s sound is rich and punchy, with deep bass that makes every skill feel impactful. In comparison, Last Epoch’s combat sounds flat and weightless.
Could you please consider adding more power to the low-end of the audio mix?
A simple “Bass Boost” or “Loudness” toggle in the audio settings would be a perfect solution. It would allow those of us who want to truly feel the power of our builds to do so.
