The new controller targeting system is a big improvement but still feels bad at range

And it likely always will until we get the ability to lock on to targets and aim with RS.

I will be kiting an enemy shooting puncture and suddenly my character starts shooting the wrong way at nothing.

I will be relocating from a boss aoe attack and my character starts shooting at nothing. I can’t retarget it until I get closer. And it’s not even half way off my screen.

A boss will summon minions and I can’t stay focus firing on the boss.

Etc, etc. the list goes on. We really need a way to aim with the RS and never have it change targets unless we interact with RS again.

It’s a lot better but controller is still limited to basically just builds that mindlessly spam aoe because there’s no way to really tell your character what to shoot at.

You should use the in-game report tool and make those suggestions there. It sends game data, so devs can see your build and see what was supposed to be targetted vs what actually was.

The more you report, the better they can fine tune it.
