yeah this makes sense, the point about Legacy being favoured with immediate access is true, though I would argue thats pretty much where it ends, and this is likely just an unintentional side effect of the Legacy/Cycle system, not the devs purposefully giving love to Legacy and its players.
Stash problems would not happen with this proposal:
still getting crashes when loading between some zones, sometimes my entire PC crashes/restarts, the vram/ram usage goes insane which seems to be the cause. Never had this before in previous seasons or any other games. Hope this is being looked at as the games unplayable rn
When that happens and you get back to the game, send a bug report from the starting screen. The report sends the game data and that data has your game history (don’t know for how long), so it should still send the data from the crash.
I’ve been playing mostly Acolyte-based characters (Lich and Necromancer). I find the game will peak somewhere between 10-12 GB used. I decided to play my S2 Druid (with a few companions), and the game is sitting at 5 GB used.
Has anyone else seen such a discrepancy on character types?
So the memory leak itself is much, much, much better, the game no longer spikes to 16 gigs but remains fixed at around 7 gigs, however, it still seems to be a work-around solution as for those of us with huge stashes (a lot of endgame players do… because it’s natural to get them, and if you play CoF, somewhat inevitable) there is still an issue, overall, great change…
BUT when moving things around in stash for long periods of time, lag and game freezing for a few seconds still happens.
I was also playing a necromancer and mine was also really bad and i never had issues previously
I have never had performance issues with LE until this patch. Now, some maps become barely playable and outright unpleasant. And my PC is a kick-a$$.
