If youâd done a search youâd have found the answer to that. You also donât have to be cute, you can say dogshit.
I would say that itâs probably designed that way to gate you from just saving up and slamming item after item. Or using a character that has it unlocked to slam items from another one.
No matter what, you have to run that dungeon, survive it (gear and skill check) and beat the boss.

it is definitely a gating mechanism - there have to be better ways to do it though. If LE dungeons werenât so incredibly bad it may have taken longer to notice but rectangles with random roadblocks are not interesting.

I also let you know that despite the in-game profanity filter being so mindblowingly overblown & excessive, the forum one isnât for some reason. Which begs the interesting question of why.

Just wish it wasnât as buggy. Iâve hit plenty of invisible walls that basically forced me to backtrack and find a new route.
The bugs are getting a little better - I had a character deleted randomly in 1.0.
