The good, the bad and the blast

My good Necro was walking in an Empowered timeline with her friend the bad boy Abomination, when she suffered a blast.
It happened. And happened. Then happened again.

How can a Necro survive in empowered timelines? It was standard empowered, with 100 corruption (or maybe a bit more, probably less than 120).

I feel there is something wrong with the Necro: she lacks self sustain.

Fellow Necromancers, how do you protect your character?

Ward and regen are both necromancers best friend currrently.

LL ward is very good, but can be a tough sell because of giving up chest slot, but if thats not your cup of tea, I can strongly suggest the new relic from t4 julra, Vessal of strife. it basically reads as anywhere from 40-60% more regen, as well as allowing you to get some overcapped EHP in the form of ward sitting over life.

Regen and LL ward both are generally unfavorable in the meta because leech is so much easier to use and get, where as regen and LL ward either require specific uniques, or force the player to use up lots of affix slots which compete for hp/res when you go for regen. Necros sadly can not make good use of leech but it makes a world of difference if you can get even 300 regen on a build.

Minion builds are incredibly affix taxing in LE.

HP Regen is a very good sustain layer, if you don’t go ward.

Generally speaking HP Regen is not in a good place currently, because it requires A LOT of investment, which summoners cannot afford most of the time.

I think when HP Regen get’s some love, it can become a really really reliable sustain layer for summoners.

Outside of that Necromancer strongest survivability tools is Volatile Zombies IMO.
You can get Kill Threshold and Mark for Death (from the passive tree) on them for pure offense, while still getting the Ward on death effect.
The ward on death sacles increbiley well int olate game, if you invest into minion health (which increases the ward you gain from zombies death)

I currently use Volatile Zombies, but to give back health and not ward. I did with ward at the beginning, but they were not giving enough, I was around 200 ward for 2K health, it was ridiculous. Ward with Zombies was in a better spot before 0.8.3 were it got nerfed (one less point in the node).
