Are you crazy? Who tested this, who will play it? The bosses’ health was doubled!!! What the hell is going on with Lagon? It’s not like standing there, there’s basically nowhere to move when you’re fighting a harbinger!!! Have you lost your mind? Who is this made for? Return my money
So, you’re frustrated by… Something… But it’s not clear what you’re frustrated by. Can you try to explain what you’re dealing with in a constructive feedback way so maybe we can provide some suggestions to EHG to improve the user experience?
I assume this is about the Boss Ward mechanic, in which case the Boss’s health was indeed doubled in a sense, but it’s less effective HP than the previous Dynamic Damage Reduction system (that worked behind the scenes) would give bosses. So bosses roughly require less damage to kill now compared to 1.0. *it’s not exact because it’s based on the build and dps of course.
I’m not sure what the issue here is, could you clarify? Is the area too small to avoid mechanics? Are the mechanics coming out faster than you can react?
Help us help you improve the game.
I experienced one problem with one boss. The whole game is terrible.
This would be hilarious if it wasn’t so typical.
I told myself I wasn’t going to post ‘git gud’ replies, but it gets harder every day …
Just attack Lagons tentacles and dodge when he is about to do something.
Space bar is dodge roll, if you are getting hit by harbinger you are doing something wrong. This is true even if your build is mostly melee.
And I liked that one of the advertising themes of the project was that there was an auction and there were no difficulties with buying things. In fact, it turned out to be funny when you flip through 23 pages of the same type of things in search of rolls above average. As a result, in PoE I spent 40% of the game time on the market, here 20% on the market. Progress (no).
No it wasn’t. Very low damage builds profit from it. Low damage builds get punished by it. Mid damage builds it’s 50/50 when it turns over and high damage builds do bosses a lot quicker then before even.
Yes, the arena is really… really small.
But it’s not like you can’t avoid the attacks. They have specific patterns and with proper positioning it’s definitely doable.
One of the harder Harbingers though, wasn’t thinking and did it at 200 corruption rather then earlier, so it was slightly spicy as my build was in the middle of progression through that stage still.
Take into consideration that Harbingers are supposed to be the hardest content in the game beyond anything else available for now. Or at least the boss is.
I help myself by repeating it as a mantra in my head when ‘specific’ posts come up. Just repeating non-stop ‘git gud, git gud, git gud…’ in my head. It actually helps.
There’s UI changes upcoming, they weren’t finished for 1.1 but are planned to come soon-ish, middle of the cycle.
And I have to agree… the Mercenary Guild UI is just not acceptable, the whole state of that faction simply isn’t at the moment.
The other way around… it’s so bad it’s the other way around even…
In PoE you only have to deal with people not answering from time to time but got a good chunk of options otherwise, and with bigger buys/sells you don’t get ignored either.
In Last Epoch stuff’s either simply not available or you can’t find it in the first place since it’s ‘somewhere’ inside pages upon pages upon pages.
Lagon health is doubled yes, tech more then that for some bosses. I just did harott, for testing. His health is more then 4Xed because he goes into the ice prism, and unless you manage to trigger the ward before he enters those, the fight length doubles per prism.
Harott is now the hardest of the monolith bosses. I did the harbinger also right after herot. Waiting for 2? min for this bar to decay 3 times was rough. Ward meter for them is a lot higher then their health. I did 10% of his health per second, but 1%/s to his ward. So its like 10x his hp.
Also Harbinger has a DRS system when he spawns in. I managed to get 120 stacks of poison on him, and he took 0 damage. So devs lied about it not being there.
No, they didn’t. Stop trying to find conspiracy theories where there are none. Boss is simply immune when he spawns in.
In fact, if anything you shouldn’t have applied the stacks until he stopped being immune.
Can you please stop spouting random wrong crap repeatedly?
Your tinfoil theories aren’t endearing, fun or anything else, all they are are fairly cringe to see.
Filter your sentences a little bit, sit back, relax before clicking ‘reply’ and re-read it while thinking ‘what will someone think who hasn’t read a post of mine before?’.
If the answer is ‘They’ll think I’m insane’ then it’s time to re-write it in different wording.
Heorot is pretty bad now, but he still has kinda low hp compared to others.
I consider the harbingers of Lagon and Gaspar the worst. Lagon for his balcony-sized area and Gaspar for his erratic beam.
