Especially when one of them’s me…
oh stop you, youre plenty pleasant. I see you around here lots, youre nicer than me XD
I’ve contacted EHG security team, because I think your account has been compromised.
You shouldn’t compliment @Llama8 so much. He’s british and british people don’t know how to react to compliments.
In my defense, it doesnt actually take much to be nicer than me
It feels like EU is France only? or maybe? Italy? I wish I knew which country. Because it definitely is not my country. While EU is bigger then US, we only have 1 server, and that says something, US has 3.
This much is certainly true. Having not been exposed to the concept during childhood, I’m not used to it & have only started getting used to it in my current job where I bake cakes & bring them in for my colleagues & then they say lots of nice things.
Yes, but it also depends on how you choose to define Europe. How far east do you want to go from Spain? The Czech Republic? Poland? Ukraine? While Texas is a fair bit taller/wider than Germany.
We are talking about all EU compared to US, So that means the countries in East EU, do not have a server, only countries from West EU have a server? Your not making any sense. If you read my comment I said, US have 3 servers while is smaller then EU, meaning All EU, not just few countries, you do know what Europe is right?
Again, you guys realize that you don’t get just 1 server? You get a data center. It can even have way more servers than each of the US ones, since it gets scaled according to necessity. The only thing that would change from having 1 data center to more than 1 would be the data entry.
Just that any other server apart from EU west has 200 to 400 ms, how about you play on those?
What I’m trying to tell you is that if they made EU west and EU east, nothing at all would change except that you now have 2 data centers with less servers in each.
Yes, my question was, do you? Are you talking about the European Union (which goes east out to Romania/Latvia), or the continent of Europe which goes a lot further east, like 40-50% further:
And given that one single state in the US is probably around ~1/3 or so of the EU, there’ll be reasons why the US has 3 servers (number of LE players & their geographical dispersal). I’m not disagreeing that there could do with being an EU East server, but there could also do with being an South Africa server as well, and I’m sure other ones, like, maybe a South America server.
Don’t forget that Siberia-East server, for the gulag commandant who plays LE between flogging political prisoners. He needs a more stable connection as well!
Yes exactly, so Europe - Wikipedia
With an area of 10.2 million km² (3,938,000 sq mi), Europe is 20% larger than the contiguous United States.
Meaning that game is only offering server to West Europe, as we can see, but East Erope, does not get a server.
Yes, but when people say Europe, they usually mean the EU, not the continent & the EU is quite a bit smaller.
Yes, but you’re only comparing with the US. If you compare the European continent with the North American continent they have a larger region.
And you’re ignoring the fact @Llama8 pointed out that many regions still don’t have their own servers.
And you’re ignoring what I said that nothing would change for you if they had more servers. In PoE, they have lots of european servers and I play on whichever of them without major differences, be it Paris, London, Amsterdam, etc.
If you’re talking about Europe, the continent, then be fair about it… let’s talk the N. American continent, and not just the USA. I’m pretty sure there’s no Canada-East and Canada-West servers. And Greenland is just fscked!
Personally, I interchange depending on context, although generally EU (Union) is 90% West-EU(continent). It’s like using “American” to describe an USer
But both points are moot, because prepared server capacity would depend on local sales, and neither side here has brought those numbers along for comparison.
I don’t think you guys have bought Greenland yet so that totes doesn’t count as NA.
I have a $1.25 and some Doritos… is that enough?
