1.1 is here… the feeling of excitment of logging in turned into gutted and betrayed to say the least.
I have no interest in being a part of cycles/season sweeaps, my time spendt in this or other ARPG games is way too valuable for me. What or how iv progressed should be the my business, the players business and for the player to decide, not bullied for their choise of not playing cycle.
Yet devs decided that all 600.000+ favor was to be spendt on experience within the CoV. Is this done to demotivate players from playing Legacy?
Isnt it the players decision how he/she spends in game currency/progression?
Secondly, this is the worst. Many of us have 200 stash spaces filled to the brim, for me estimated 13000 items. Which isnt automatically carried over into legacy?? the player has to manually move an estimated of 13000 items back and forth if they wanna keep their hard earned gear) with 8 sec screen freeze everytime they swap from 1.0 merge to legacy?
I find no other explanation than this is done purley to demotivate players from playing legacy?
All i can say is congratz you succeeded, i am not micro managing somewhere in the range of 13k items, and once more remaking my entire system tabs.
The biggest middlefinger iv ever witnessed from a gaming company.
Eleventh Hour Games
You can “merge” in the stash top right corner.
I mean if you have a thousand hours in the game i wish you the best of luck if you want to keep everything.
You realise you would always have to do this anyway, right? Simply put, they could have given you your 200 tabs and moved all your 13000 item now. Then cycle 2 ends and you have another 200 tabs from cycle. Except that now your 200 legacy tabs are full, so you have to manage them manually anyway.
Also, plenty of cycle players are from EA, so they already have stash tabs full of stuff.
I’m not disagreeing that you should get your tabs worth of what you spent in cycle, but automerging items is not feasible and no other major game does this.
I’m new to the game, and it was very disappointing to log in and see all my stash gone. I can’t help but think this would be a great use for a pop-up that you acknowledge upon login before patching. Oh, great—all my crafting materials, too…
I had the same problem, I have about 7K rings i need to delete somehow. Lets just say I aint removing them ever. In offline at least, so I can delete my save file in folder, and mod it back… but for online legacy… ye yikes. A good reason as to why offline is better, and makes me mad they got shafted.
Easy skip for LE this “update.” A dodge roll I can’t even use on controller because they hardcode button assignments and a dumb inventory merge. Nah. I’ll check back in a year I guess.
