It is possible to play in Offline mode right now! You just can’t play in Online.
We are guinea-pigs in here, why cant you test your changes offline and implement them when u sure its all fine? That is not POE, it actually cost us to play

my steam says 3 hours played. I havent even got passed the logging in screen yet

This is the same as an electrician fixing power problems with the power on. You all know what the outcome is so why are they doing this?
Are they afraid to lose the publicity with the recent popularity with the streamers or something??

For me the multiplayer is working fine now
So you mean to say that they are keeping the emergency power generator on aka letting players that are currently playing stay online. While they try to fix the broken electrical system so that everyone can play again… yeah i don’t see the problem with that tbh
For me there are currently 7300 people in queue. And it hasn’t moved in a while.
It works for NA, not EU.
It’s more like the main building where the fun happens has power, but the front door and service desk don’t have power so nobody is able to get in. And everyone currently inside has to use an emergency exit to leave, after which they can’t get back inside.
TIL what a hotpocket is. Instead of playing Last Epoch. I’m sad, and hungry.

More interesting to me is that you guys see a queue at all. No queue even pops up, just permanently spinning wheel from the main menu when you click Play Online.
Got this, too - after restart sometimes you see the characer screen but this is also not really helping as it is then stuck at “Connecting”
