I just did the Temporal Sanctum on my character, and skipped from CH5 to 9, as it was said you would. But i thought we are supposed to get those missing passive points and relic slots from quests we didnt do in the skip period. Am I missing something? Kinda dissapointing tbh. Im in CH9 but still will probably have to go back to old CH5 and progress to get the missing ones. Cause there wont be enough in CH9.

Nope, you don’t do the content, you don’t get the shinies. They’ve never said that you’d get any of the quest rewards.
Ok. Understandable, yet dissapointing. Thought this is the main twist of this skipping. Well, gonna have to rush through some quests then. Thx for answer

You should get all pasives/idols slots after completing CH9 because there are more quests with these rewards then limit.
Yes you should be getting them, since the questing system now has more than enough quests to cap idol slots and passives. I haven’t tried the skip though so I’m not sure just how many of the side quests need to be done before doing the skip.
I posted this in the 0.8.4 Patch notes because I knew this question would come up. I hope it helps you in your efforts.

No, if you skip the content via the temporal sanctum, you don’t get the shinies.
Its a way of alternative levelling then gopiing back and walking through the story for idol slots, it is not skipping the story and getting the idol slots you would get from the story. Its not worded very well.
In other words its a waste of tiime.

To be fair, they have always said that they wouldn’t add any alternative levelling methods that would be quicker than the campaign.
did they at least give the rewards for MAIN CAMPAIGN?
(I ask because an attribute point is given for main quest and if you do not get the rewards it may be impossible to get a character as strong from campaign skip as doing it normally)
Also, 1 of each attribute isn’t going to be a deciding factor in whether your character can complete some content or not.
I am more concerned for if they add more attribute points in the future(that are not at finish campaign point), also some builds have interactions regarding how many attribute points you have

That’s unfortunate.
Every time I think of creating a new character I get discouraged by not only the thought of doing a bit more than half of campaign but also starting monos from complete scratch.
Man I need to actually get into empowered monoliths, I never finish the final 4 90 lvl maps.
