Not sure if a bug or if its just me again…
Temporal Corruption gives +10 void damage to spells and attacks
Does a skill has to have the “void” tag for this to work or something??
I assumed its a great idea for throwing attacks since flat damage is sparse there.
Now I tested it a little bit and it seems very odd.
I almost think that I don’t get any damage from the passive at all.
Here is what i did:
I hit the dummy with hammer throw a few hundred times and watch the highest crits because they are easy to spot.
For the test I removed all flat throwing damage from gear and didnt use any skills that give added flat damage and I also made sure that (up to negligible contributions) all my increased damage is of type “throwing” and not void or physical etc.
then I only had +16 flat phys throw damage from ForgeGuard passive tree.
So I expected to see a huge different if i spec the +10 void damage from temporal corrupion.
But I couldnt spot a difference.
In both cases - with and without Temporal Corrupion - i got ~7200 crits
If I equip a ring with +14 flat physical throwing damage I immediatly see ~9800 crits.
Something doesnt add up with the Temporal Corruption passive
