Teleporting to friend after death in Fire key dungeon bugged out

Generally, you should include:
What went wrong? Trying to teleport to a friend after I died in the fire key dungeon (whatever it’s called) causes graphics glitches and I can’t move my characters. I can rotate and cast some spells but not all spells, but I can’t move.
The place seems to be called: “The soul furnace”
