Teleport desync while holding m1

While holding M1 (Mouse left click) to move forward, press key to teleport. Continue to hold M1.

Expected behavior:

  1. Character moves forward.
  2. Character teleports to where mouse cursor is.
  3. Character continues to move forward.

Actual behavior:

  1. Character moves forward.
  2. Character teleports to where mouse cursor is.
  3. Character teleports backwards a short amount (About the distance that would have been travelled via walking during cast time of teleport) (This is unwanted behavior.)
  4. Character continues to move forward.

Character playing online.

Observations:
If player lets go of m1 during full animation of teleport and then presses it again upon completion, character does not erroneously teleport backwards.

Can confirm that I had the exact same issue. I didn’t recall it happening for the first couple days of playing, so I just left the game, reconnected, and the problem was gone. Probably some type of server desync that happens from having the game on for a longer period of time.

can confirm its annoying as hell. Iam being ported half a meter back everytime while holding left mouse button

Yup! Having this issue as well. Teleporting to an enemy and then getting rubber banded back to my original teleport point.
