Teleport Cheese - Is it a bug or intended?

Just a quick one… Using Sentinel Smite Teleport I am able to teleport past entire sections of a map so long as there is a mob to target.

Eg. around areas where there are ledges that you have to traverse or corridors that loop back on themselves - usually a fair distance - I have found I just Smite Teleport to a mob at the edge of the screen and voila, a substantial shortcut. Even able to teleport through some walls sometimes - cant isolate the wall feature that allows it but it seems to be related to having an opening along the way.

This happens on many maps and in various instances… so long as there is a mob close enough to the edge of the visible screen, you can teleport. You dont even need to be able to “see” the mob - I just move my mouse around and hit spam smite till it teleports.

So… Seems a little bit of a cheese…

Is this a bug? or intended?

Example… and this one is a short jump… many are longer…

Much farther one…

Yes, that’s how all of the leap/teleport skills work. If it’s not intended, then they’d need to fix all of them (Teleport, Leap, Transplant).

Up to them I suppose… Honestly, I have no problem with how its working now and use it to my advantage whenever I can as its a great way to run through a map fast and lose any aggro’d mobs… it works so well that it just feels like I am cheating when I tele up a cliff and skip a section of the map so quickly… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
