It looks horrible alongside skeletons and ghosts. I swear to god I don’t play the necromancer because of this. It occupies 20% of the screen, and a necromancer screen is already crowded with minions.
Please…

Hahah bro I love this. I said the day I saw the T rex that I wish you could pick a custom size for your minions because I think frogs look stupid as well especially when they had that bug with 20 of them lol! Should just put a simple slider in the UI - small, medium, large and let players have their own choice I don’t think it would be too much hard work for the guys to do either.
Although having said that I do feel like some forum white knight is going to pretend he’s on the same level as coding games as the guys who do this and go into detail about how it is in fact hard work (can’t wait)
I agree it looks bad among necro minions. I have been a day-1 advocate of an skeleton T-Rex variant. Unsure how to make MTX for a legendary item though.
The better looking alternative for necro is to ditch skeletons and play with 4 Golems with the gorilla MTX (needs Aaron’s will armor), the prehistoric MTX armor for the necro and the T-Rex. You can add bees to max the minion number requirements from the passive tree.
Never figured out how to make the build with just Ice Golems to work. Still trying though ![]()
Bump & be able to choose a bony skin
Mmmm, what a really weird idea…
Mind you, I know absolutely nothing about coding. And I do not see myself as a white knight, or a purple, green, or any colour knight. But I do play a lot of games, and everytime I have used minions, in any type of game, size is not just cosmetic, it influences the gameplay. A lot.
So how would that work with a slider? I could get a gigantic pet blocking all projectiles and bashing all enemies screen-wide? Cool. Or a super-tiny range one that monsters would never be able to hit.
Or would you keep the hitbox and attack range unchanged, and I would get arrows coming straight at me right through my huge minion (who would be unable to hit mobs stepping on its paw because they are too far)? Or reversely, arrows blocked by my tiny pet 3 meters above its head? Tiny pet who would, meanwhile, fiercely slash with its claws enemies that are nowhere near it (but would be if it was bigger).
I just don’t understand the concept, sorry.
Haha I would love if you could resize to block projectiles! But nah I meant like you’d have 3 model sizes for the minions and the hitboxes would just scale with those 3 mins, 3 hits - I don’t think you need it for say bear or sabre tooth they’re all good but that flipping T rex and those ugly giant frogs for example if you could have frogs the size of the squirrels it would be wicked. Actually as I wrote that I was thinking it’s really weird they designed giant frogs and normal sized squirrels…
Anyways it’s 100% me just harping on for what I’d like I’m sure tons of people love the big clumsy, screen blocking T rex or megafrogs. I just think it would be cool to have them small if you wanted (it’ll never happen)
I would actually pay for a trex skin that would make it look like an uber undead. The dino really hurts the look of my necro zoo army.
I have asked for this several times, even on stream ;D.
I won’t pay for a skin of a minion that comes with an item under no circumstances at all. But I’d play, and giving the ammount of players that should be enough. They don’t care, neither do I at this point.
Why? What’s the difference between paying for a skin that’s granted by an item versus one that’s part of your class? Especially since you generally buy the item from a vendor with in-game currency rather than it being a drop, potentially phenomenally rare like the squirrel helm or Aaron’s chest.
It’s a matter of boundaries. If I start paying for this kind of crap, companies will start charging for stuff we can’t even imagine.
Right now they need to hear the playerbase, they need to imitate what other games does better. They need to redeem for broken promises. They need to fix the game and get people hooked. And no. Infurating rng doesn’t get people hooked unless the game is absurdly addictive. And LE at this point is somewhat fun for a couple hours a week.
But it’s not about me, it’s about the game, right? I still have faith and looking foward for the DLC.
Just give us the option to change game currency for a bony t-rex… I take it as a payment for the bug I reported a couple months. Instead of closing the topic and not even mention it on the patch notes, you could have just say me “hey, thanks for taking the time to help us”.
But I still have hope.
Fair enough, does that mean that you don’t want any mtx at all?
Yup, that’s fair, but they also need to make money to pay their staff & keep the servers on. There’s a reason they had to sell to Krafton.
Absolutely, I was just curious as to where you drew the line on skill mtx.
'K.
