Hello,i m a very big fan of this game and decided to provide some feedback of some new systems/classes and game in general
Usually i m not following any guides and trying make some stuff on the fly(Playing CoF only)
Usually i m sitting somewhere around 400-800 corruption depending on how good my build is this time.
1)Temporal sanctum.
Adding ability to have guarantee on 1lp slams is a good idea, i n my opinion.However it should not be THAT accessible. I think if it was some special charm that can be farmable it would be better.
2)Charm system
I think this is a very good system that can be used as a very good fix to dungeons,you can make those as scarabs from poe to add some exclusive content inside dungeon and make it more appealing.I m very sad that portal charms somewhat destroyed this system in general. Dungeons are cool and charms/scarabs that add some interesting stuff inside could make it work.
PLEASE don’t abandon dungeon idea, i think you have something great here, you just need a fair bit of tweaking, i m a big fan of going on adventure for a specific reward (like Temporal Sanctum)
3)Loot Lizards
I think this system doesn’t feel right.It heavily inflates loot in the game and makes early game a little bit more strange.
Hide them until you reach emp monos or made them somewhat optional(not appearing until you spec into them,for example.)
4)Nemesis.
Should not appear untill lvl 60 or smth.Good system.
5)Uber Abberoth
Me and my friend played on somewhat non-meta builds and reached around 500-600 corrution.
I played on warlock(bleed caster) he played on shadow dagger rogue with pure dodge build.
Why auto from abberoth oneshots 4k hp rogue with 6 k overkill?(just to make clear - he have 70% glancing blow,100% crit avoidance,50% armour,20% damage reduciton while moving and he still got hit by AA for 10k non-crit.hp almost everywhere he could,even if he added like 1k more - it would not make difference.AUTO should not kill your character.I m fine with other mechanics in oneshotting you,it’s uber boss after all.
Ward shields on bosses.
Our dps is relatively weak to other players,but our builds are heavily optimized(atleast i hope so.)With our dps fight would take around …20-30 mins i think.I m not sure that’s intended or not,but those ward barriers HEAVILY disincentivize us to even attempt this boss.Is it balanced around 2k mill dps or what?i think our builds barely scratching 300-500k dps.)
Please find different solution to oneshot protection on bosses.I think those shields hurts low dps player more than meta players.
Uniques:
I usually into trying make some weird builds based on some specific uniques,plenty of items have very-very-very cruel wording that outright make those items “unfun”
Examples:
celestial doom(mana-stacking staff) trigger doom pulse only from direct casts and not channels(even min-maxed this proc isn’t that strong to have THIS requirement)
Black Blade of chaos(Two handed lethal mirage sword)
This item is amazing,however it literally locks you out of almost all bladedancer abilities.Why?Allow me to use dancing strikes and shadow cascade directly,i still can use shadow cascade through shift,this restriction feels unnecessary and unfun.
Sacirificial Embrace(void spell damage gloves)
Why it completely removes crit damage?IT literally makes item almost undesirable, because it still forces you scale crit chance to proc this,and payoff is still somewhat mediocre.
Cool concept tho.
Overall i still wanna thank you for creating such an amazing game,i already poured almost 1k hours in this and can’t wait to pour more in the future.
