The problem currently is diversity when playing Swarmblade, lack of playstyle options.
Here is my feedback to make swarmblade into a more, fantasy rich, diverse and fun playstyle. (feedback welcome)
I believe the swarmblade can be made better with just the inclusion of 3 nodes.
1: Give players a node that increases damage with your right click ability and that adds another attack to it, making it a 3 attack chain attack. Perhaps an option to support it, making it a 1-2-1-2-3 combo (like dancing strikes)
2: Give players a node that changes the interaction with your minions when using swarm strike. Minion supporting build, when using swarm strike you no longer consume your locusts but you enrage them for a short duration.
3: Give players a node that changes your locust hive ability. You no longer spawn hives when using this ability but instead you give your self a short-damage over time buff. When you kill a enemy while this buff is active, it has a a chance of spawning a locust from the enemy killed. The rarer the enemy killed, the more locusts can spawn.
While this buff is active, the range for dive is increased and it has a increased chance to slow
4: Give players a node that make your locusts stick to you and damage anything in your radius, locusts spawn rate and pack size is increased by 50% but deal 30% reduced damage, swarm strike no longer consumes your locusts.
5: Locusts coming near you while swarm strike aura is active get consumed and lengthen the duration.
