I have been playing with a Cold ShatterStrike with the Cold Surge synergy…lots of fun. What you think the potential is there?

ShatterStrike is very powerful, there is a good chance its going to synergize well and do even better than it previously did.

I’ve been playing this build on my first character, i’m lvl 64 now and i’m having a blast :slight_smile: Thanks for all the builds you’ve written!

There’s one thing i’m not understanding here: I haven’t taken the Convergence node for lightning blast yet and have two questions about this:

Doesn’t this disable most of my aoe clear because lightning blasts will only hit one target?

Is Surging Influence, the arc chain range node, not nullified by Convergence’s ’ lightning blast only chains to first target hit’ ?

Am i misreading the chains to first target hit only bit?

Your aoe is still good thanks to how many different lightning blast go off.

Yes first target but if you chain to first target only then they work good together

Also surge hits alot of enemies and all the spark charges going off have aoe

You’ll get plenty of AoE from Mana Strike, Fire Aura and all the Static Charges going off so taking the Convergence node helps with the single target.

I’ve now taken the convergence node, both of you guys were very right, only a verly slightly noticeable difference in aoe, but huge gain on single target damage
