Supporter Packs too expansive

Just compare to you-know-who, which if you spend like 50 bucks, you not only get 50 bucks worth points, items of this tier, and also get all previous tier packs. The items is kinda like a bonus.
For this game? You spend 50 bucks, you only get 15 bucks worth points, and only 3 items?

Out of curiosity, how are you valuing the points to determin how many you’re getting per pack?

You-know-who would give you 500 points for $50 pack.
So “15 bucks worth points” would be 150 points.

50 points is 4.99 on the Buy Epoch Points shop. So 10pt = ~1$. So…

That’s nice, can you use their points here? Or vice versa?

Mike discussed supporter packs in the latest dev stream at 33:47. Might get some useful info there.

Yeah, but he’s mixing up Bundle Packs and Supporter Packs, which are 2 different things, IMHO. A bundle pack would be like buying a POE armor pack – boots, gloves, helm, chest, etc. But a Supporter Pack is different. Where, I think you’re primarily buying the Points, but getting the cosmetics as a ‘thank you’ from the devs for supporting them. This is why most companies will only let you purchase Supporer Packs one time (at least getting the cosmetic rewards just 1 time). But also, most of them work like :
Pack A = A MTX
Pack B = B + A MTX
Pack C = C + B + A MTX
…and so on.

They also usually allow you to upgrade from a lower tier that you had previously bought, to a higher tier, and just pay the difference – and receive the difference in Points + the new MTX from the higher Tier.

Now, I’m not saying that’s what LE wants to do, or even should do, but it has become a kind of expectation for Supporter Pack purchases.

I agree with your points. Just a cursory google of “supporter packs” ignoring POE’s example, pretty much every pack I can find is equivalent to a straight purchase of currency with that same amount + additional bonuses on top of the purchase, like cosmetics.

I personally bought all the packs as the price points don’t affect me that much and I like to show my support for this game, but if EHG wants to meet the general player’s expectations it’d be better to provide at least the point incentive for the purchase.

Look guys, different game different economy and different ways to do the same think.

I will not criticize one for the benefits of other.

Well said that, in my opinion from a Brazilian guy. For me it’s a little expensive.

BUT, BUT, BUT. In last epoch we don’t need to buy premium stash, premium card stash and other shenanigans.
