I bought the Woven Vanquisher pack, and was now considering buying the last Woven Legend pack… But now I cannot buy it, because it is asking me the full price, even though I already have the items from the lower packs. The supporter packs give the items from the lower tier packs, as well… So now that I have the 2 lower packs already, why the hell should I pay full price for the final pack, if I already have half of its contents now (in the form of 2 previous packs being part of the price)? Please fix this. This would mean that I can never buy supporter packs separately during a cycle, because I would have to pay basically that much more… Because if I just bought the Legend pack once, it would’ve given me all items from ALL Woven packs… But I bought the Vanquisher pack, which gave me the 2 first packs… Now I want the Woven Legend pack, but it is not simply worth buying it anymore… Because I already own the two first packs, that would be included in it… So now I would have to pay full price for that one single pack, when first time buyers could get all 3 packs for same price buying just this Woven pack… Ehh… Really? A price deduction system is a pretty normal thing in these kinda shops, so why doesn’t this have it?
What if you try to buy it through the their steam page at the DLC section? Will that see you have the previous pack and give you a discount or something?
I’ve asked EHG in their discord. They apparently don’t have the ability to do it at the moment. Not sure if they are working on it but it seems crazy to me they wouldn’t. It literally makes them more money to incentivize people to pay more $. I imagine a lot of people just don’t post/say anything in forums or other channels about it.
There is something that is not included from the lower packs to the higher packs, the amount of EPs are unique to their packs. so if you bought 2 separate packs you would be getting the points from the 2 packs separately
Imo higher tier packs shoukd give u the epoch points the other lower packs give u. Just like it does with the cosmetics. If i remember correctly thats how poe does it. Idk i havent touched poe since about a yr after i started playing LE day one of EA.
Well, the higher packs do give you more (@ the same “rate” per USD), so if you wanted the Woven Vanquisher pack (200 points) to give also you the points that the Templar pack (150 points) gave you, they’d just make the packs more expensive.
It doesn’t. PoE is the same (though granted, the points per USD rate is different). If a pack costs X you get X points but you don’t get the points from the lower tier packs.
I think his point was that the packs could just add to 200 cumulatively. First pack is 50, 2nd is 50, 3rd is 50, 4th is 50. Buy the last, get 200 points. But the 3rd, get 150. Upgrade to the last, get another 50.
Which, from memory, was what happened when I upgraded my Ardent Champion pack to Ardent Lord. The only “issue” here is that we can’t currently easily upgrade packs (possibly because it’s all done by steam, no idea).
True. Thought of that mid way through typing this lol.
