This skill has no indicators showing it is active and has no effects around the character???
What do you mean? 1 sec invul after using the skill. It’s right there in the text… or do you want to say it isn’t working?
I don’t mean it doesn’t work. It’s just that it doesn’t show skill cooldown or (a protective circle) to show you that you are invulnerable, so you can verify it when confronting mobs.
The game isn’t showing a lot of stuff and that’s intended this way. If they show a buff icon for a buff that is mostly gone right after a skill animation it would be kind of silly. It’s simply a timing thing… use the skill in the right second and profit.
From my point of view there is no need for an indicator. Look how long a second is and you most likely get why there is no indicator. It would be a lot of work for a blink of an eye.
so what do you think about Haste, it actually has 1 second too, but at least it has animations around the character
Haste is something that can procc from multiple sources on multiple masteries and from multiple items. Whenn you use warcry with said node you know you are invul for a sec by pressing the button. I don’t think you need more then the animation of warcry to get this thing is on.
i used this always to negate one skill of an boss when i was to lazy to walk out of an AoE or something. i never felt the need of an indicator showing me that i pressed the obvious button that makes me invul for a blink of an eye.
I’m no developer but registering each and every buff no matter how obvious and short they are (not only talking about the invul here) would hit the games performence if I understood the posts about showing buffs and debuffs from the past.
Anyway, that’s an idea
The game already shows me a ton of buffs that last 1 second, so…
Maybe they’re not perfect yet, just wait and see
