Super strong builds have a place?

Like werebear earthquake as an example, I believe have a place in ARPG’s. I know a few folks here would argue that it is not good for LE. I think that an end game build that rewards you with ease of play and strength in character power should be something to strive toward and achievable. In this specific case getting the weapon at level 75 might have been the killer for many. I know that once I got it for my Druid it felt “too soon”.

What are your thoughts on super powerful builds and LE- is there a place for them? If so what type of investment into game time or some other metric makes sense to you?

The whole point of aRPG is to become strong

honestly EQ werebear isnt that strong in comparison to other games ‘strong’ builds. im talking builds you have almost ZERO downsides, dominate everything in the game (killing all bosses in mere seconds) and almost cannot die.

basically a good build is a build a 5 year old child could play and still achieve results…which is what im referring to

EQ werebear is only somewhat strong as it can stunlock bosses, if you remove that its not even a good build really

Shadow Dagger BM was probably the best build vs investment as if you had the final breakpoint for Shadow Dagger it would proc off a single hit but even 50% of that allowed it proc off 2 hits, this was the best build in the game for progression as every breakpoint was effectively another tier of damage and sense of progression

The problem with werebear EQ is you need a single weapon with 100% drop chance from an easy monolith and a resonable level requirements and not much else…the build is basic and requires virtually nothing to get going
