Been trying out Victory Howl but I have yet to see a single Howl from wolf’s kill. I know 10% chance isn’t high but I really haven’t seen it at all. Is this working? I assume it must from their kills right?
Yes, it’s on the wolf’s kill. 10% isn’t much (I’ve noticed similar infrequent procs with my Sentinels and the Smite proc on throwing hit idols) but it does fire off with a reasonable frequency if you have 2-3 points in the skill.
Edit: Plus, if you’re getting more of the kills, that reduces the available pool of kills for it to proc off.
so it does work? strange. I’ve watched my wolf kills and haven’t seen one Howl.
It does definitely work with 3 points in it (pre-0.7.7). I would presume that if you only have 1 point in it then your wolves aren’t getting enough kills to have a reasonable chance of proccing the howl.
The node is working, I’ve just tried it with just a single point invested. Thanks for posting though.
So it must be the wolf making the final kill? And you’ll see the Howl animation?
