When I hover the mouse over my Summon Wolf, the health bar says “Summon Wilf” 
I searched and couldn’t see anyone else mentioning this, so hopefully I’m not just repeating things.
Sometimes Companions have special names when they spawn, though from the sound of it its the skill icon that has the different name?
It was the health bar that appeared when I hovered the mouse over the summoned wolf that said “Primal Wilf” (I mistakingly wrote Summon Wilf in the first post.)
Funnily enough, that typo (?) dissappeared again later when he got resummoned. So I don’t know what that was and I don’t have a screenshot unfortunately.
Yeah, that’s an easter egg, not a bug. There a bunch of special names companions can get at random when they get summoned.
