Brief explanation. I had a single storm crow summoned. I dismissed it by removing the skill from skill bar then added the skill again to the skill bar. Selected the Frigid Wings node, then went summon the storm crow again. It changed to the proper cold tags in one location but not in the skill bar. The only fix was to remove the skill from the active bar and add it again. Also, the Charged Feathers and Power Claw nodes should they change to cold?

After chatting with Mike in Discord, there is another bug. Selecting Charged Feathers and Power Claw also converts the damage back to lightning in the active skill bar. There is some odd interaction going on.
