Summon on proc for X seconds is a bad mechanic

Basically it it’s like this:

The time you need the most power is when you initially encounter a wave. Your power starts spiking AS you finish the pack off with this mechanic. Limiting the usefulness of the mechanic. Further compounding this issue is loot. You have to make the painful choice of "Do I keep going while I have all these little munchkins so I’m still powerful? Or do I stop to see if I need to grab some of these items to shatter/craft with later?

I would recommend that if procs truly are the best mechanic for things like Spirit barbs Druid passive and spirit ally Spriggan form passive, that the proc summons last instead of a duration, for a certain number of hits. Alternatively, these passives could just give you a certain number of allies that are always with you based on what the devs had in mind for the value of these passives to be.

I’m really trying to make a non werebear druid build work, but the longer I mess with it, it feels like all the unique passives just aren’t worth it.
