Suggetsion: Smaller, but more frequent updates

Smaller, but more frequent updates. Ship soon and often. That’s the way to go IMHO. Especially in LE case. If most of people are done with new content in one week, then what is the point doing big content updates once every 9 months? Small updates, rebalances. One mastery fix, even partial, per update every 2-3 months would probably be enough for a season instead of trying to “redefine the genre” (spoiler alert: 1.1 didn’t and 1.2 won’t).
Be evolutionary, not revolutionary.
I write this, because i really like this game and i want it to evolve.

The problem isn’t the intent.

They are working on a bunch of backend stuff to make faster releases possible, but that backend takes time. And then the choice is to have half your team work on the current system releasing minimal patches while the other work to convert those patches to your new backend, or just focus completely on the new system and be able to churn out more stuff afterwards.

As for the Sentinel rework goes: If you’re going to change some base class skills to integrate them into one Mastery, you can’t do it without considering the impact on the others.

I believe Judd has come out and simply said that they want patches every 3-4 months, but with what they’re working on now, it just isn’t possible to release it earlier at a quality level they can live with.

They also pivotted mid update to work on stuff for 1.2 that would have been in 1.3 so they basically started (mostly) from scratch half way through the season.
