01 - (MORE IMPORTANT for me) - Adding Steam achievements would be even more important than Steam achievements. Adding in-game objectives would provide something unique to remember the season by, such as a pet, cape, title, etc. This would give you more playtime than just tidying up chests, haha.
Without achievements, the season ends very quickly, and the game doesn’t have much to offer besides pursuing personal objectives or creating new builds/characters.
02 - Creating events during the season, such as increasing XP and gold gain for a period or random events, would be really cool.
03 - Adding a task to pets, such as collecting gold and materials, would make them totally useful.
04 - Creating an export and import system for chest settings, because every season we lose a lot of time configuring each tab, and this takes a huge amount of unnecessary time.
05 - If possible, add an option to hide the minion’s nameplate when hovering over them, as we don’t need to see the minions’ HP at the top of the screen, as we should see for enemies.
I believe these are simple changes to add that will benefit the game and increase its longevity throughout the season.
Furthermore, you are doing an excellent job, congratulations.
I agree any achievements, milestone or “season journey” akin to PoE challenges would be very welcome. They can serve as guidance for new players and also provide goals for veteran players.
That is not a good practice. Having reoccurring events will lead to situations we’re people feel bad for playing when one of these events is not running currently, so much to the point we’re people will actually play less between these type of events.
I am still unsure why so many people want pets to do something. Just let them be cosmetic pets either you like them and summon them or you just leave it be and ignore them.
Generally I like the idea, but I think there needs to be a lot of work for this system, because when you start a season you donvt have all the stash tabs yet. So importing a chest layout probably should load even the not yet unlocked Stash tabs and show them already. Then if you Want to buy a new stash tab you can select one of the “locked” ones from your layout.
Most of what you suggest are not simple QoL changes though
Let us increase size of text in chat and anywhere else in game that has text. I need reading glass’s like millions of people. Do I wear them while playing = NO because they are annoying on the bridge of nose. But with LE I HAVE to put them on anytime I want to read anything in the game . Why no size option?
Having just size for text alone would break all sorts of UI elements such as text overflow. For this, the UI as a whole needs to scale, which should have settings available.
PS: I to say this but… I have realized that we don’t need to partake in doing the mono’s [Mobs and side boss’s ] if you don’t want… we can just walk/run past EVERYTHING to the boss or objective without any problem , which makes the whole thing kinda silly.
+1 the next step would be challenge rewards. but i m not sure if EHG/krafton is willing to put resources onto giving players freebies
+1 BUT with a caveat. if its just for XP, i think its fine. theres no real ladder or competitiveness in LE. XP bonuses will benefit reset season enjoyers. while permanent leaguers are likely max level so they wont have anything to complain. but it exactly as you said it. players would feel less inclined to play if the benefits are so great that they feel its not worth playing in between. hence why i would say xp would be fine. ultimately any random can hit 100 so i think xp is fine. i would be against loot drop buff events.
i used to be someone who prefers pets to do nothing but be pets. but as i grew older and when games started getting “zoomier” i realized that theres so much loot on the ground i just cant be bothered to pick em all up. i really appreciate how EHG lets us vacuum crafting mats easily in LE. having pets help us pick stuff up could be borderline p2w but can be alleviated by giving all players a basic free pet blob that can do the same.
i m so +1 on this i think i have an entire post suggesting stash tab qol. but as you say its not gonna be easy to implement
