Hello, I have 1500+ hours in Last Epoch over the last 3 years, and have taken about 15-20 characters to level 100 (or very close). I think EHG has made a terrific game, but I have some suggestions. Some of these have probably already been talked about, but I’m not gonna read through a thousand posts to see.

Provide an option to auto-pick up shards, and a button somewhere on the main UI to sort inventory and transfer shards, so I don’t have to open the inventory to do this. Very annoying.

Fix Ward: having ward retention be a thing is fine, but use an asymptotic function that makes it near-impossible to gain ward as the asymptote is approached. Maybe 4000 ward or so. Items could buff this a bit, but in general, gaining ward as you approach the asymptote gets more and more difficult. This would solve some issues with #4, too.

Gaining corruption in monoliths is way too cumbersome. First, decouple the association between Orobyss, monolith bosses, and corruption. Each monolith web should have ONLY ONE echo for Orobyss. As you complete ordinary echoes, you sometimes get hints (the echo symbol on the timeline web has an illuminated arrow) about what general direction to travel to find Orobyss. Once you find him, you can choose from different tiers/difficulties. Tier 1 raises corruption by 25, Tier 2 by 50, Tier 3 by 75, Tier 4 by 100. Maybe you have to pay more and more gold to access the upper tiers. Or maybe you lose corruption or a random equipped item if you die! 0% chance at tier 1, 50% chance at tier 4, something like that. Should be some cost/risk to picking a high tier that’s out of your league. The purpose of the monolith boss, then, is to gain the blessing and re-set the web, so you can begin the hunt to find/fight Orobyss again.

If I complete the monolith boss and one of my blessing choices is the one I already have equipped, I can choose to add a bit to my current roll of that blessing. This would make so many players happier.

You’ve stated, and I agree, that 300 corruption should be a benchmark. Good builds should be able to handle 300 corruption. 500 corruption should be close to an upper limit. If someone creates a build that can easily do more than 500 corruption, find out why (passive tree? skills? item interactions?), nerf it, and laugh as they cry. These 1000-3000 corruption builds make LE a joke.

Idol crafting - I know this one is being addressed

Loot filter: please let me hide uniques with less than some amount of LP, uniques that I already have X of, set items I already have X of, affix shards that I already have X of, etc.
-
If I find a unique/set item I already have, I can “meld” the two together to slightly increase the roll of one/some/all of the affixes of the primary one. This would make the item account-bound/untradeable.
So there you have it. You are very welcome. I love the game, but it could be much better with these changes. Good luck on your development efforts in the future!
