The game is going forward to success. But I will share in this post an idea to stand out of all ARPGs available right now. That idea to implement will need serious work to be done, but if it is done correctly, that might be crucial for LE’s success after launch existence.
Every class out of five classes have three masteries and 4 to 7 skills per mastery, that set in stone. But if the EHG developer adds to each of those masteries with an additional 5-8 new skills. However, this will grant a huge boost in skill’s diversity. But it will not give a unique experience rolling over and over the same content.
Suggesting that the player receives 4 - 7 skills by randomly assigning skills to each mastery. Just unlocked masteries will be visible and usable, and half of the locked skills only be after unlocking chosen mastery. Once unlocking is done, randomisation initiates and give the player, a set of skills randomly assigned. Base mastery randomization after character creation in the game. Masteries receive modifications based on the skill received player and some tweaks on randomness.
So players every time start’s game receive a kind of different experience with the same class. Yes, skill trees suppose to be done too for new skills. So that means base and selected masteries receive different random skills every time you play and that open window of opportunities have nice great builds diversity for fun. You get rarely bored playing it. But that only if you chose option randomise masteries. ( Good point of Llama8).
