Hi … as the title already says, it would be very good if rank was implemented on the masochist difficulty, because I’m a little frustrated playing it currently because besides not having better rewards, at least it has rank for us who like to suffer there hahah… Because I don’t like Softcore for the simple fact that it’s very easy and the difficulty of Hardcore is a different, is cool, but I don’t like the difficulty in which dying makes you create a character from scratch, I prefer the difficulty that I die a lot and that this makes me go after better equipping, study my character to see what I can improve on him and farm… and this on the masochist difficulty I can have… I think it would be cool for those who like to play Masochist and I think it should have yes like Softcore and Hardcore … I think it doesn’t cost and it would be something relatively easy to implement in the game… I hope this can happening to motivate a little crazy people like me hahaha
I am sure you Masochists would like a little place of your own to see who is the biggest lover of pain…
Jokes aside, the devs have said on numerous different occassions over the years that they are not doing anything specifically for Masochist mode - no balancing, no rewards, no ladders, nothing different from the normal game other than massively increasing the difficulty in a purely mathematical way… They were even pretty cagey when asked recently if Masochist was going to exist in the online play mode, iirc they answered with something like “we havent decided yet… maybe”
Who knows… thats what feedback & suggestions are for tho…
