Suggestion: Implement a Spectre-Like Mechanic For Necromancer

Hello this is my first suggestion as a zoomancer lover,

First off, I just want to say that I’m really enjoying Last Epoch — the depth of build customization, the combat flow, and the feel of progression are all fantastic.

I’d love to suggest a feature inspired by Path of Exile’s Spectre system. Specifically, the ability to raise specific monsters from the world and have them fight alongside you — not just as generic minions, but with their unique abilities, passives, or even auras.

This mechanic brings a lot of creative potential. It can dramatically shift how a minion build plays, based on the type of enemy you raise. For example, raising a ranged unit vs. a tanky aura-supporting creature leads to different gameplay decisions, gearing, and synergies.

Here’s why I think it could be a great fit for Last Epoch:

  • :brain: Playstyle Diversity: It allows for hybrid or specialized summoner builds beyond just skeletons, golems, etc.
  • :art: Build Identity: Choosing the right spectre would feel like picking a keystone passive or unique — giving your build a new identity.
  • :arrows_counterclockwise: Replayability: Encourages exploration and experimentation with monsters across different timelines and dungeons.

It could be tied to a new skill, or even be a branch of existing summoner skills like “Summon Wraith” or a new Necromancer passive tree specialization.

A spectre in every home !

It would take a LOT of work to balance this kind of thing.

I believe they will be interested in it and trust them to get it done. Meanwhile i also like to see if they can position our minions better.

Currently it kinda looks like they are queuing up for food than going to war with me hehe. It will also be great to have some perks / unique item to reward beastmaster lover having differrent pets together.
