Suggestion for Buffing Health builds

Suggestions for buffing health builds to make them more competative with ward builds.

  1. Get rid of the endurance affix. Fix endurance at 60%,. Keep Endurance Threshold. This way health builds only need to stack ONE thing for endurance, rather than 2 things.

  2. Create a new affix, it would give “More health, multiplicative, but set your ward to 0” This would buff pure health builds, but would avoid the problem of buffing health indirectly buffing ward, via low life uniques like Last Step of the Living and Exsanguinous.

  3. Increase the numbers on health recoup: Health Regen, Health on Hit, Health Leech.

Ok, maybe not all 3 things are needed, but SOMETHING is needed to make health builds competative, and not just by massively nerfing ward.

There was no nerf to ward, just bug fixes. Furthermore, health builds are bad because they are unreliable against bosses because fights are generally full of one shot and mechanics that force the player to lose DPS when playing just meele. So, basically, if DEVs don’t remove mechanics that only harm meele, HP builds won’t be good.
Julra’s fight was clearly not made for a meele to win without using equipment far superior because those permanent void pools are pure garbage, in addition to the rotational abilities preventing meele from attacking for almost 20s.
I don’t know how the hell something like that made it through beta testing.

A few things i think defensives should get

  • Wards should be capped at like 150-250% of max health.
  • Endurance threshold needs a masssive increase so that it can include up to 75% Health, and it should be hard capped at 75%.
  • Mana shield builds need to gain a unique that reduces the damage to mana exchange rate, ideally for mage and primality.
  • Health base values should be double, so if by default you get 1k health at 100, you should get 2k. Health is just to low for the damage rates in game.
  • Stun needs a complete design pass or the delete button. Seriously this is the most annoying thing in le. Everything else is fairly to entirely enjoyable.

A rive palladin with healing hands, (a melee build) can stand without moving vs t4 Julra, absorbing all the damage she does, without getting close to dying. It generates an ABSURD amount of ward, and it is NOT A BUG, just badly tuned.

TLDR: Ward nerfs are needed, AND health builds need a buff.
