Stutter/lag when closing overlay map

Recently started playing Last Epoch again and noticed that every time I closed the overlay map my game would lag/stutter, I have tried everything I can think of, from reinstalling the game to setting high priority and disabling core 0.
The rest of the game runs fine.

I have seen a handful of people with the same issue but no acknowledgement from the devs that the bug (or whatever you want to call it) exists

Changing the graphic settings does not help.
I don’t think it’s a PC problem but I thought I might as well post my specs, everything is less than 4 months old except the GPU.

GPU: ROG strix 3060 12GB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D 8-Core
Motherboard: PRIME B550 PLUS
RAM: 32GB DDR4
SSD: M.2 NVMe Gen 4

Hi there, would you be able to submit an In Game Bug Report for this issue? We have made the team aware of the reports and are gathering up the player reports for them!

Hello there,
I wanted to do a LE run before the upcoming Update early April.

Though, I also have the problem with significant lag / stutter when closing the map overlay. I am used to being quite spammy with map on / off from other ARPGs, this really makes it currently unplayable for me.

Please also find the three usually requested files attached. Is there any fix to this problem yet?

Edit: Reinstalled whole game - problem is still there…

I also recorded a very short sample clip, demonstrating how terrible the stutter is everytime the map overlay is being closed.

This - unfortunately - is absolutely unplayable right now :frowning:

All we can do is send in-game reports, wait and hope they manage to find the problem.

They are at least aware of the issue.

Redownloaded LE today to refresh my memory before the new update and I’m also having the same issue.

could we at least get some kind of indication whether this problem will most likely be fixed with the upcoming major patch on April 17th?

otherwise, this would be an even larger downer than it already is, effectively not being able to play the game.
