Stuck in Welryn Undercity during quest - A Study In Time, stage 3

Progressing through this quest and not tagging/activating the Ruins of Welryn waypoint before quitting the game seems to render the quest stage invalid.

At returning to Welryn Undercity in different game session you are unable to get past the guardian ghost.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Talk to the Ghost to progress the quest.
  2. Kill all the Soul Repositories.
  3. Return to the Ghost and talk to him to progress the quest.
  4. Enter Ruins of Welryn.
  5. Exit to desktop.
  6. Start the game and portal to Welryn Undercity.

At this point the guardian is back, blocking the player from accessing the zone exit.

Following scenarios are left untested:
Is it enough to just leave the Ruins of Welryn zone while not having tagged the waypoint?
Do you have to exit to desktop or is it enough to just leave game?

Adding a copy of the character save file for inspection also.

Yeah, that’s due to the way zones respawn when you load in. It’ll be fixed when they implement multiplayer.

I also experienced this bug.

I have just experienced it. Can not progress because of it.

ran into this - why not make it so the ghost disappears once your quest stage is past it

Also experienced this bug. This bug is blocking gaining a passive point.
