Streamlining Last Epoch's Gearing System: Feedback and Suggestions

After investing 200 hours into end-game monolith runs, I’ve noticed a significant weakness in Last Epoch’s gearing system. It’s exceptionally challenging to find a Legendary item with desirable rolls while also having 3 or 4 LP. Furthermore, acquiring the necessary Exalt for slamming adds another layer of difficulty. The repetitive nature of navigating the Temporal Sanctum maze for slamming becomes increasingly tedious after multiple runs.

Suggestions for improvement:

  1. Eliminate the requirement to navigate Temporal Sanctum every time for slamming. Instead, maintain the Tiers (1-4) that must be completed once, and thereafter, allow slamming without the need to run the maze repeatedly. At the very least, consider placing a teleportation point before the boss. Ideally, remove the necessity of defeating the boss every time.

  2. Allow for unlimited slamming of Exalts into Legendaries. Each slam will overwrite the old Exalted affixes, providing players with more flexibility in optimizing their gear without unnecessary limitations.
