I’m Building a Spriggan Shaman with autocasts on Storm Totem, Storm Bolts, Avalanche etc.
Since I found out, that the triggered Storm Bolts can be altered by the Gathering Storm tree I wanted to alter the Damage type from lightning to Cold, so everything goes for Cold and is easier to scale.
But ever since I skilled the conversion node, my damage dropped hard.
So I was wondering, if something prevents the cast. I went to Arena and there were no Stormbolt casts. It should be 1 every second, while Maelstrom has 6 or more Stacks +3targets “Power of the Storm”-Node and Storm Totem’s Unmatched Storms should use em, and even Lagons Answer from Shaman passive tree should trigger em.
StormStacks however from Avalanch boulders are applied. But since its 8% boulder on cast and then only 30% of the boulders trigger it, its not doing much, and they dont cast StormBolts either. The Stack simply runs out.
After experimenting and changing skills I found out it works, if I dont convert the Bolts.
to me this seems like a major Bug with this skill. (If this is on purpose plz rename the triggered spell or say something about it in the skill description)
