Storm Crow is Aesthetically Boring

I know, I’m just chock full of ideas tonight. I blame the Diet Pepsi that I just drank.

I switched from Spriggan as my companion (it looked fantastic, but performed badly) to a Storm Crow (it looks like a toy bird hung up by a string, but does way more stuff… ahem armor shred). I really hope it’s just a placeholder.

By getting the size buff in the Crow tree and the Artur’s Legacy size buff, I now have a huge rubber bird following me. It just looks out of place next to better-looking minions: say, a Bone Golem or a Spriggan. The size buffs really exacerbate the issue. Also, the “ice aura” that ST gets is just…not great looking at a larger scale.

I’d also like to point out that every node that you take should change the minion/pet/summon in some noticeable way… (Yes, I know, devs, but the changes can be the same model but with a minor addition/color/pattern/lighting/whatever so that your pets look like yours and not other’s…)

Most of the pets for Primalist lack visual polish to distinguish them from the regular mobs you run into in the game. In a way it’s charming because you’re controlling what would normally be enemies. But in other ways it’s a little wonky because they are sometimes hard to spot in a crowd and they don’t look special in general. Definitely wouldn’t mind some more detail being added to these.
