As per title, I have unspecced swipe entirely as a skill but it appears my primalist still benefits from the storm claw node.
Are you using the Stormhide Paws gloves? They provide a similar effect & stack with the Storm Claw node.

Ah! Well spotted. It is because of the gloves I am wearing! The tooltip does say storm claw however, which I guess is what threw me off.
I was mistaken and this seems not to be a bug in the end! 
Tooltip could still be clarified to avoid confusion.
