Storage... when do you start doing what everyone hates doing?

I REALLY want to see how people like you play games. I’m so genuinely curious

When swapping to MG, you only cannot wear the gear with the faction icon on it. Everything you find that doesn’t have it is good to go. Mix that in with the fact you only need a small amount of favor from Merchants (do like one EXP monolith) and you can buy a set of yellow starter gear at Rank 1 easily.

I wish this game was fully offline, grimvault /TQvault anyone? On a serious note i agree the gold cost on tabs is crazy knowing lightless arbor exists and it costs close to 1m gold per run to get any good loot.

Speaking drom someone who dumped 1m gold per run, ye i am a luntic

I start organizing my inventory and stash from the very beginning so I never wind up hating it. 10 - 15 minutes getting my categories together saves hours of sorting stash tabs later.

earning gold is slow in the circle faction. I only keep LP2+ items and have a tab for each type and one for each exhalted type. only for a primalist too and tabs for 1x1,1x2,2x2 idols. the cost to do this for each class is already crazy and if you broke it down into types alone. I think the better mix is playing on the merchant side just to make money for class tab sorting, then go deep into circle for the good lewtz.

cant do this over night, take your time, happy grinding and may all your monoliths produce a 4LP item every time. happy hunting my friends.

on SC i am in CoF and always had enough gold to keep updating my stash?. Obviously i dont save every exalted, i save only those that could be useful for me or some crazy build idea i have.
i believe i have around 25-30 stashtabs lvl 90 on SC and its more than enough.

We already got more stash space than any other ARPG. There needs to be some kind of gold sink. Making it stash tabs is a good idea.

Better than having to “repair” gear every 30 minutes.

Until empowered mono you need to pick up only things wich u need for build - type of weapon only, shatter, uniques, sets are not worthy maybe only for sell or your build right now to equip. After you will get on empower monoliths one of those mono on left side will have blessing reward from killing boss +65% golds…200k in few runs like nothing
Until end game and higher rank faction lvl (CoF) is not worthy to pick up purples in huge amount because they will drop better with each rankup

I don’t. I have 5 Unique tabs I use 2 1/2 of. I have 5 Exalted Tabs I use 1 of. I have 2 Key tabs and use 1. Idols and stuff like that are in the seperate 3 tabs for each toon.

If I have a 1LP unique item I throw away the 0LP item, when I have a LP item I throw away the 1LP copy and so on. I only keep Exalts with double exalted stats that are usefull for the builds I play and that’s it.

Those are 21 tabs and that’s it for this “cycle” andthose cycles to come. I have no need to hoard bad items or items I have with better numbers. Just don’t be a hoarder ^^.

I have one key tab, 8 tabs for exalted and purples, 3 tabs for uniques with potential, 5 tabs with idols, 2 tabs for stuffs on removal rune or shatter, 3 tabs for set items :joy:… And i do 100-200 k golds per one mono if im lucky on shrines

I found 11 money shrines so far. While those are nice a lot of gold drops anyway.

You will get quite a few different answers to this questions. However the one true answer is this…

NO FUN ALLOWED

So a couple things:
-To answer your original question, I stopped keeping every purple around level 60 on my first character. If it had decents mats, I broke it down, if not I sold it.
-This game has more storage that you can buy with in game currency than any other I have ever played.
-I would like to see some premium stash tabs for sale (that would work offline also) would be a tab for unlimited keys (like the crafting mats), and another premium that holds 1 of each unique. If it worked offline, I would easily pay $10/tab for those 2.

Curious…how will EHG handle end of cycle item and stash tab moving to legacy?
For example, let’s say I end up with 20 tabs cycle 1 & they are completely full. If I already have 10 tabs in legacy, also full, surely they won’t just transfer the tabs as is, making it 30 total…? I can’t imagine they would as buying 10 tabs from scratch + 20 tabs, would be much, much cheaper than buying all the way up to 30 in a cycle say (or even in legacy). So, the geometrically increasing cost throws a spanner in the works. Even if they stick the items into temporary stash tabs after the cycle (ala D4,), and you have 30+ days to move them to your existing legacy tabs, or buy new tabs, or just delete items, that still puts a severe restriction on keeping items after each cycle. And it you aren’t playing legacy a lot, you won’t be able to afford the extra stash tabs at higher and higher numbers, even with the total extra gold coming from each cycle. Eventually you will be forced to delete items or spend an absolute fortune just on legacy stash tabs. I don’t know what an equitable solution would be here…

Probably something similar to the way PoE does it. All the cycle stash tabs will move to Legacy with a remove only tag. So you can only take items out of them and cannot put anything in. When you remove all items of a cycle tab then it gets deleted.
