Steam/LE Launch Glitch

No idea if this is Steam or LE.

I’ve verified files numerous times and also the Steam install itself.

Lately, like the past week, After intial computer start up I can launch LE fine, play however long I like. But then if I quit the game and later in the day comeback to it, it doesn’t start up. What happens is the Launch indicator in Steam says launching…then about 5 seconds later this image flashes really fast on the screen and then the game launcher goes back to [Play].

If I quit steam and then restart, the game starts up with no problems.

Anyone had this occcur?

So it has now gotten to the point where I have to re-verify the files after each and every start I do.

You’re lucky it works for you to verify files. Not even that works for me.
It’s ridiculous. I literally can’t even open the game.

Are you seeing the same thing I’m seeing or is it something different for you?

Decided to clean LE and Steam off my computer and currently re-installing. It’s very weird because this only started happening like in the past week. Up until then I’ve never had a problem.

So a complete uninstall of both LE and Steam did NOT fix it.

I’m now completely at a loss. No idea what it could be. Back to verifying files every startup, for now, I guess.
