All ARPGs have a keybind to stay still while attacking, why don’t we have this here? Sometimes I wanna stop moving while spinning with warpath for example and it’s pretty hard, please add this option.
Yeah on most of the games, there is no such a thing in this game, try it.
It’s not. I have asked if the devs could take a leaf out of PoE’s book vis-a-vis movement in Warpath/Cyclone whereby the closer your mouse is to your character, the slower you move.
Attack without moving button is mandatory for arpgs.
This actually the case even, the closer your mouse is to you the slower you move. I’ve gotten to be able to make it so that I move very little, just can’t stand still completely.
You can stand still completely but that seems to be affected by the surface/terrain you’re on. In some maps the “radius” where the character stands still completely is literately 1 pixel wide. In other maps I can move my mouse close to the char and I’m completely rooted, even wiggling the mouse for a couple millimeters to each side doesn’t make my char move.
You have to left-click on the left mouse move button there are three different attack types to choose from. I use a hold left-click and shift when moving to cast avalanche while standing still and spin in a circle on my shaman. The key is that it has to be tied to the ability. It does not work for all skills, it’s one selected skill.
