Ihope they use this cycle to get some balancing done so cycle 1 isn’t a complete balance clownfiesta. I don’t talk about 1-2% balance range but some balancing at all so things are more in line. Runemaster, Falconer and Warlock are stupid powerfull while Paladin isn’t even having 5 mastery skills and the Shaman skilltree is so old it’s social security number is 1.
I hope they get this done before any actual cycles to shake up the meta and get everything a bit more in line.
You can zoom through the campaign just by picking 2-3 items off the ground every 5 levels. Most bosses are can be facetanked. I feel like easier than this would be 1 button map clear
Some of it is just poor RNG so I’ll submit to that. However going 30+ levels without having the ability to craft or get gear upgrades doesn’t feel great. I’m not saying it has to be the crazy adjustment. I just feel like early game gearing could use a little tweak. I’m also having a blast with the game and in level 82 now and almost in corrupted monoliths. I just think early game could use a tweak.
It’s easy if you play a cookie cutter build, it’s definitely not easy (and for sure way less fast) if you want to experiment…
It’s VERY easy if you have a full stash when you make a new character to twink; that’s obviously not true for a new season.
IMO the argument to be made is that the campaign is boring when repeated and I have already played it like 6 times. If there were a way to skip elements of the campaign without being handed anything tangible–only save me my time talking to NPCs and loading scenes, as well as saving my sanity–then that would be still be a fresh start and “fair” for everyone.
The campaign isn’t even finished, so this means that when we’re on Season 5 I’m going to be playing a campaign that’s two times longer for the 20th time?
I won’t be and I doubt many others will be clamoring to come back for that.
It’s fine for Season 1 but it needs to be considered for the very near future.
I’m literally doing a completely non cookie cutter Dark Quiver Falconer build that has never been tried before. (as my first build) The campaign and game in general tbh is just that easy. I don’t know what to tell people who think it’s actually hard
